Communications Volunteer

Location:  London

Duration: On-going, minimum of 3 days per week

We are looking for a long-term volunteer who can commit for 6 months for a minimum of 3 days per week, to support International Alert’s Communications team.


You will be responsible for assisting the Team with media monitoring, online communications (including social media), and multimedia and web-related administration. The role will also offer opportunities to gain exposure to a wider range of communications work, including: writing articles for the monthly newsletter, updating Alert’s social media platforms, monitoring media coverage, producing and disseminating communication materials, and much more. There will also be opportunities to gain experience of media relations and help with events planning.
