Description
Web Development / Delivery Manager, West London, Hammersmith, Fulham, Acton, Ealing, £60-70K + Bens. You must have a strong software development background with experience of managing teams of highly technical staff (10+). You will also need extensive experience with web development and have an appreciation of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications.
Technical experience should include Java, J2EE, Unix, Linux, SOAP, XML, HTTP, TCP/IP.
Duties and Responsibilities:*Lead and line manage multiple engineering teams, each of 5-10 developers, delivering multiple Enterprise Java products.
*Manage relationships with key stakeholders and proactively resolve delivery issues with stakeholders and customer facing delivery teams.
*Manage product lifecycles and ensure on-time delivery.
*Negotiate delivery dates and resource plans with internal stakeholders.
*Enforce engineering standards, code reviews and code management strategies.
*Assist with internal process improvement initiatives.
*Assist with product sales process.
You will be working for a company listed in the top 100 best companies to work for in a rapidly expanding environment.
Salary is £60-70K + Bens possibly more for exceptional candidates and is based in West London.
